In 2022, we will continue to offer you the right events for professional input and exchange on quality management at universities and other topics. In addition to providing information, the focus is on the structured exchange of experiences between participants from the various universities. The number of participants is therefore limited.
In the first half of 2022, the events will once again be held exclusively digitally (Zoom video conference). On the one hand, this means planning security and the elimination of travelling to and from the event; on the other hand, we generally limit the number of participants in the virtual format to 16. If you are interested in a seminar, you should therefore not register too late, as the free places are sometimes filled quickly.
In response to popular demand, we are offering a half-day event on 17 March 2022 for the first time on the Teaching Analysis Poll - a qualitative evaluation tool that can be used to obtain student feedback. We are delighted to have Dr Kerrin Riewerts as an external speaker and input provider, who has been working in the field of university didactics and teaching development at the Centre for Teaching and Learning at Bielefeld University since 2011. Bielefeld University was one of the first universities in Germany to use the TAP format and therefore has a lot of experience with this instrument.
We are also offering a new seminar on 6 April 2022 entitled "Planning and implementing surveys at universities methodically and competently". It is primarily aimed at university staff who have little prior knowledge of survey methodology. Here, too, we are supported by a proven expert, namely Margarita Kozlova from the Centre for Quality Assurance and Development at the University of Mainz.
Also new to the programme is a further training event on 4 May 2022, which is tailored to the information needs of employees in ministries: "Dos and don'ts in the operational implementation of funding programmes - from the call for proposals to the completion of the measure". We hope that this will provide a new target group with an interesting and suitable offer.
Finally, a note on the seminar "Further development of internal accreditation procedures". We held the basic seminar last term. The advanced seminar will now take place on 6 July 2022. This is aimed at participants from higher education institutions that have already successfully completed the system accreditation procedure once or several times and whose internal accreditation procedure has therefore been in place for several years. The focus will be on the collegial exchange between experienced universities with regard to their internal procedures and the discussion of how these can be streamlined and optimised or how alternative formats can be used.
Further information on the individual events and the opportunity to register can be found directly on the evalag website at www.evalag.de/weiterbildung/. Viola Küßner (kuessner@)evalag.de, Tel. (0621) 128545-54, will be happy to answer any questions you may have about the evalag training programme.
