Certification

Unlike all forms of degree programmes in the tiered system, continuing academic education has not been subject to any accreditation requirements to date. Certification procedures are therefore never mandatory, unless the institution aims to award "educational leave". In this case, a seal of approval is usually required - and EVALAG's procedures are labelled as such.

In addition, certification procedures for universities and higher education institutions also offer the opportunity to deal with quality assurance processes, which experience has shown to initiate important reflection processes, promote the development and performance of an organisation and create transparency and comparability through the standardisation of quality assurance.

This not only has advantages within the organisation, but also represents a competitive advantage.
