The international Erasmus+ project INSPIRE (Institutional Accreditation for Sustainable Progress, Innovation and Excellence) marks the start of a new phase of cooperation for the further development of institutional quality assurance in Europe.
The kick-off meeting in Wroclaw, Poland, was attended by Prof Dr Dr Theodor Leiber and Dr Stefanie Kröner were on site for EVALAG and contributed their expertise in quality assurance and organisational development to the international project network.
INSPIRE aims to further develop institutional accreditation approaches in Ukraine and anchor them sustainably in the Ukrainian higher education system - in close dialogue between eight Ukrainian universities, the Ukrainian Quality Assurance Agency, the Ukrainian Ministry of Education and Science, two Ukrainian research institutes and the Ukrainian Student Association as well as four EU partners from Poland (Wrocław University of Technology), Norway (University of Oslo) and Germany (University of Bayreuth). A study visit by the Ukrainian universities to EVALAG in Heidelberg is planned for 2026.
