From 30 September to 2 October 2026, EVALAG welcomed 26 participants from Ukraine, Poland and Germany to Heidelberg for one of the three INSPIRE Study Visits (the other two taking place in Oslo and Wrocław). The three-day programme focused on the German and European quality assurance systems in higher education, accreditation regulations and procedures and current developments in quality management.
Through presentations, discussions and interactive workshops, participants explored different approaches to quality assurance and exchanged experiences from their institutions. Presentations from outside the INSPIRE project were given by the Darmstadt UAS, Heidelberg University, Media University Stuttgart, the German Accreditation Council and the German Student Accreditation Pool.
The Study Visit provided valuable opportunities for international networking and peer learning and contributed to fostering a shared understanding of quality assurance and accreditation in the European Higher Education Area.
