Since 1 January 2024, EVALAG has been an associate member of the German Association for University Continuing and Distance Education (DGWF). The DGWF is an association of experts who are committed to promoting, coordinating and representing continuing education and distance learning.
EVALAG has been active in the field of academic continuing education since 2015, when the first certification procedures for academic continuing education institutions and programmes were carried out using newly developed EVALAG guidelines. As part of the Hochschulweiterbildung@BW project (a sub-project of WEITER.mit.BILDUNG), EVALAG has once again increased its focus on this area.
