EVALAG in the EU EDU-LAB project: Discussion of initial findings at the General Assembly in Athens

As part of the European research project EDU-LAB ( 2025–2027), EVALAG is currently working alongside international partners to gain new insights into young people’s transitions from the education system to the labour market and to make these insights accessible to different target groups across Europe.

A key milestone in the project’s work to date was the second General Assembly, held in Athens in early February 2026. Representatives of the consortium and the International Scientific Advisory Board met for several days to take stock of progress and plan the next steps. Prof. Dr Dr Theodor Leiber and Dipl.-Soz. Miriam Chebbah attended on behalf of EVALAG.

The General Assembly focused on reviewing progress to date and discussing ongoing research activities. Initial findings were presented and further explored collectively – with the aim of deepening the comparative analysis of young people’s educational and employment trajectories across Europe.

We look forward to taking the next steps in the project forward together with our partners.
